Therefore, a sufficiently large gap always remains at the bottom, which must be sealed with corrugation, rubber, and other methods.

Sectional structures are the most popular for automating the remote opening process. The electric drive circuit is necessarily duplicated by torsion springs for manual operation. Self-installation is difficult, but available to the home craftsman - each product is accompanied by detailed instructions.

- minimum loads on load-bearing walls;
- high resource, maintainability, interchangeability of units;
- comfort of use, ergonomic design;
- easy integration of gates, ventilation ducts, windows;
- minimum transport and operating costs.
In case of interruption electricity the gate leaf can be lifted manually. However, the presence of a minimum lintel is a prerequisite for installing the system.

Private owners rarely use accordions made of vertical folding sections. The drives for automation of the opening process are completely similar to swing structures, with the exception of underground electric motors with levers.
The disadvantages also lie in the need for free space in front of the front facade of the building, cleaning the adjacent territory. Sashes are made of sandwiches, polymer panels, windows, wickets, ventilation air vents are built into them. Structures load bearing walls to a minimum, as they are lightweight.

It is dangerous to open swing structures in windy weather; it is necessary to clean the space in front of them after each snowfall. Sliding modifications are too noisy and require additional sealing of the junction points. Folding accordions are used in industrial workshops. Lift-and-rotate structures are not popular due to complex structures, installation of drives.
